Summer Pardi is “bumpin into that 3rd trimester.”
She posted a photo on Instagram on Monday afternoon (April 22) wearing stunning pink dress that highlights her growing baby bump as she had a baby “sprinkle” with Baby No. 2 on the way. Some Instagram commenters gushed that Summer is “pretty in pink,” “stunning” and “gorgeous.” Kailey Dickerson, Coffee with Kailey podcast host and wife of country star Russell Dickerson, commented, “the cutesssssssst.” Charles Kelley’s wife, Cassie Kelley, said “I heart this so much ❤️❤️❤️”
“Cowboys and Plowboys” star Jon Pardi and wife Summer announced earlier this year that she’s pregnant with the couple’s second child. They quickly followed the pregnancy announcement with a pizza-themed gender reveal. Summer said at the time that “Jon said he knew it, I was definitely surprised,” to learn that Baby No. 2 is another girl. Jon and Summer welcomed their firstborn child, daughter Presley Fawn Pardi, on February 18, 2023. Summer recently confirmed there will be a 17-month age gap between the two girls, and hinted at the baby’s name.
Summer responded to a few questions from Instagram users on her story last week. One of them wanted to know whether she’d decided on a name for Baby No. 2 yet, and Summer replied, “Yep! Starts with an S.” She also shared two girl names she chose not to use — “Monroe and Aspen” — and revealed that if she’d had a boy, “I wanted to name him Duncan (my maiden name).”
The Mr. Saturday Night hitmaker is one of several country artists who announced he and his wife would welcome a baby in 2024. The growing list includes other stars welcoming Baby No. 2, 3 or 4, in addition to first-time parents. Some welcomed their children earlier this year (including Gabby Barrett, Jessie James Decker and Adam Doleac), while others are still on the way. See the list of baby announcements here.
