USC Extends Head Coach Helton

USC is making sure head football coach Clay Helton will be sticking around. The Trojans announced on Tuesday that Helton received a contract extension through 2023. Helton has led USC to a 21-and-6 record in his two full seasons on the job. The Trojans won the Pac-12 this past season and the Rose Bowl in 2016.
Helton took over after Steve Sarkisian was let go in the midst of the 2015 season.
