Attention country star Miranda Lambert fans:Help homeless animals at the Humane Society of Pulaski County while attending her concert at Verizon Arena on Saturday, March 10 from 4p-7p. To rally the support of concertgoers and help animals in need, the songstress and Live Nation are offering up the chance for one lucky fan and guest to meet Lambert at her concert by donating supplies for the HSPC cats and dogs.

The Humane Society of Pulaski County is a private, no-kill shelter supported solely by donations,fund-raisers, bequests and grants. HSPC receives no city, county or state funding, nor are theyaffiliated with any other organization. They have been rescuing animals since 1946. HSPCcurrently maintains a 25,000 square foot shelter which includes a clinic, a full-time veterinarian, anda staff of animal lovers to care for over 200 animals. HSPC’s strong volunteer base is involved inanimal care, fund-raising, off-site events, and various other programs to help find good homes forthe dogs and cats in their care. Their Humane Education program works to teach respect for animals, proper pet care and responsibility in an effort to end animal abuse and overpopulation.
