The 5th Annual Chocolate Festival in Dardanelle

A fundraiser for a local need in the community, especially when life doesn't go as planned. Exhibitors offer unique chocolate creations along with traditional chocolate delights. A few examples: Chocolate chipotle popcorn, chocolate dipped strawberries, Grandma's Fudge, and a Southern favorite, Chocolate gravy and biscuits. This is a Fun family atmosphere held at the Dardanelle Community Center, promoting local businesses, non profits and community organizations. The Chocolate Festival is a perfect example of the heart of Dardanelle.

In its 5th year, the Chocolate Festival has raised over $20,500. Past recipients include Breaya Bunting, Bailey Craig, Julia Hodges, Bryce Bowden, Nikki Coffman, Sasha Belcher and The Lizard Lunch box Fund.

This year's recipients are The Lizard Lunch Box Fund and Ethan Guiterrez.

The Lizard Lunch Box Fund is to help families that do not qualify for free lunches, but struggle with paying reduced lunch fees for their children while attending school. Also to help families, if made aware to the school, that are having a rough time.

Ethan Guiterrez, is the 3 year old son of Krystal Rhinehart and Brandon Guiterrez. In January Ethan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Ethan enjoys playing outside, riding his dirt bike, and helping Pop work on projects.

Tickets for the event are available at the Dardanelle Community Center, for a minimum donation of $5 each.
