Ft. Smith Cab Driver Shot In Head, Survives Robbery

Police are currently investigating a case of aggravated robbery on Tuesday night where a cab driver was shot in the head. Fort Smith Police say the incident occurred near the intersection of Mussel and Newlon around 11pm on Tuesday. Officers say that the cab driver was treated at a hospital for two gunshot wounds, one bullet hitting his head, but also said that the injuries were serious, but not life-threatening.

Currently, no arrests have been made and authorities haven't released any new information. If you have information about the robbery on Tuesday night, you are asked to call Fort Smith Police immediately.
