Arkansans have a home state contestant to cheer on this season on American Idol!
Noah Davis, an adorable college kid from Royal, Arkansas (near Hot Springs) got the judges to fall in love with him. He is only 18 and killed it on the premiere on Sunday night.
He said his dream if he were to win would be to own alpacas. I love it!
Noah earned his golden ticket with a soulful version of Rihanna's "Stay" on piano. He is amazing! Arkansas will be cheering for you Noah!
Noah is a nursing major at Arkansas Tech University, but is taking a break for a sec to pursue his dream.
And if you're like the rest of us that are confused by the whole "wig" thing, Katy explains...
These two were speaking their own language at one point:
"Wig," Perry said to him. "Snatched."
"Snatched?" Davis asked.
"Flown," Perry said.
"Flown?" Davis asked.
"Out the door," Perry said. "It's in Arkansas."
"It's in Arkansas. You don't want it back?" Davis said.
"I don't need it," Perry said.
