Festivities for the 2019 Little Rock Marathon will begin Saturday, March 2, and ends with the final race on Sunday, March 3.
Several road closures will be in effect throughout the downtown area on Saturday and Sunday. Our friends at THV11 has all of the info on their sight about he LR Marathon. And below you can see where the roads will be closed.
" Broadway Bridge SB Exit to Cantrell
- Saturday: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Sunday: 5 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Markham - Between Center & Cumberland
- Saturday, Sunday: 5 a.m. to 2 p.m.
LaHarpe Blvd. - Between State & Cumberland
- Friday, 9 a.m. to Sunday, 9 p.m.
Main St. - Between 2nd & Markham
- Saturday, Sunday: 5 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Cumberland NB at Rock
- Saturday, Sunday: 4 a.m. to 9 a.m.
2 Street at Rock
- Saturday, Sunday: 5:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
2nd Street off-ramp from I-30
- Saturday, Sunday: 4 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Closures will begin at 4 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday along the entire course prior to the race start.
All road closures will be final at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 2 and at 6 a.m. on Sunday, March 3. Races will begin on Saturday at 7:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Races begin on Sunday at 6 a.m.
Streets will reopen on a rolling basis, and is at the discretion of the Little Rock Police Department.
