TMSG: Police Support Lemonade Stand After Old Kids Steal Earnings

9-year-old Gracen Newbauer just wanted to sell some lemonade on a hot summer day. That's when older kids came up and took off with his earnings.

After confirming it was ok to call the police with his dad, Gracen called the local authorities and told them what happened. Shortly after, Officer Alyssa Archer of the Brooklyn Park Police answered the call.

After asking Gracen questions related to the theft, she reached into her pocket and gave him $20 to replace the money that was stolen. Throughout the day, around a dozen officers who overheard the call also made quick stops at his lemonade stand and bought more than $50 in lemonade.

The robbery remains under investigation, Gracen said he will be more careful with leaving his earnings in plain sight!
