TMSG: Kid Changing Lives With Bagged Lunches

Liam Hannon is already making a difference in his community at just 10-years-old. He created Liam's Lunches of Love project, making brown paper bag lunches for people who are experiencing homelessness in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Each week, he passes out 50 or 60 lunch sacks, which usually include a sandwich, fruit, snack, and water. The idea came from a lunch program during a summer reading program and the educational website. Liam shared with CBS Boston,

“Whenever I see them, they seem like they’re sort of sad or depressed,” Liam says of the homeless folks he brings food to. “But then when we go over to them, they sort of light up and become more open.”
