Locash Drop New Album, Share Stories About Buying Back Music From Label

LOCASH joined the Bobby Bones Show to talk about their brand new album Brothers which dropped today! They named the album 'Brothers' because they consider themselves brothers and everyone in this world is connected in some way; we're all just "brothers" trying to make it through life together. Chris and Preston said they have pulled each other through some tough times which has brought them so much closer so this album means a lot to them.

They say the most emotional song on their new album is "Kissing a Girl", they knew the moment they heard it they had to have it. The song talks about how important girls are and they said once they heard the song turn into talking about daughters the tears started flowing and it was an instant connection!

Speaking of music that means a lot to them, Bobby asked if they'll close their show with "I Love This Life"? LOCASH says people love this song so much that sometimes they'll open AND close with it. The song makes people want to party and they love the way it gets people up and moving.

LOCASH feels so deeply about their music and how hard they've worked that they shared a story with The Bobby Bones Show about a time when they had to buy their music back from their former label. The duo was previously signed to a different label than the one they are currently with and when they decided to make the change they didn't want to give up the songs they worked so hard to create. So they decided to buy back all of their music so they could keep it with them when they left.

The country duo is up for an ACM award so they're heading to Vegas! Bobby asks if they're expecting to win the ACM for 'Duo of the Year', to which LOCASH responded with, "We're envisioning our name getting called in that silence while they're opening the envelope".

Listen to the full interview with LOCASH where they play a game of family feud with Lunchbox and Amy. They also talk with Bobby about their sneakers and having fun in Vegas!
