Amy's Pile: A Dirty Paper Plate Used By Kurt Cobain Sold For $22,400

A California-based auction house, Julien's, traffics primarily celebrity memorabelia. Someone recently spent the equivalent of a brand new car on a paper plate that was used by Kurt Cobain. The plate has the set list for one of Nirvana's shows in Washington D.C. on April 23, 1990 scribbled across the front.

Julien's obviously knew this held value so the plate was originally listed for $1,000-$2,000. Well the company severely undervalued the fandom behind having Kurt Cobain's dirty plate. The plate raked in 11 times more than expected, with a winning bid of $22,400. Although the pizza grease stains seem to have faded, the plate apparently has not lost its valued!
