Lots of people say that millennials spend too much time on Facebook and Instagram these days, but according to a new Nielsen study, it's the Gen Xers that spend more hours per day checking up on social media.
The survey says that the 18-34 crowd spend about 6 hours a week checking out social media while the 35-49 set spend at least seven hours a week checking their feeds. It also shows that women spend more time looking around on social media than men do, showing women spending 25% of their time online versus men spending 19%.
