MLB Player Hit With A Ball THREE TIMES While Going Around The Bases (VIDEO)

Any Major League player would be happy with a three-hit night, but Cardinals outfielder Stephen Piscotty would have preferred the hits to come off his bat and not his body.

Piscotty left last night's game against the Cubs after being hit by a thrown ball three times in one trip around the bases. It all started when Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta hit him in the right elbow and sent him to first base. Then, as he advanced to second base on a wild pitch, Cubs catcher Willson Contreras nailed him on his other elbow. Then, after an error by Cubs second baseman Javier Baez, Piscotty tried to score and Baez threw home and hit him in the head.

Piscotty stayed on the ground for about a minute before being helped to his feet and into the clubhouse where he was checked out. He suffered a head contusion but is said to be doing fine.

There's an interesting write-up about it at USA Today, and you can see what happened in the video below
