Marriage Proposal Leads To Jail Time and Community Service!

Kyle Stump from Ohio wanted to propose to his girlfriend, but couldn't find the right way to do it... And somehow, he decided to spray paint his proposal on the side of the Shore-Way Shopping Center.

According to the police report, Stump spray-painted a heart and “Michelle Marry Me I Love You Familia 3-17-17” as his way of popping the question

Shortly after the proposal, he was taken in front of a judge who told him that a more "traditional way of proposing" would have been better.

Stump was fined $500, given 80 hours of community service, and given 60 days (suspended) in jail. He was also ordered to pay $332 in restitution to have the wall sandblasted and repainted. Meanwhile, Kyle and his girlfriend Michelle are planning a wedding for next Spring.
