13-year-old Lane Sutton of LaOtto, Indiana, loves the outdoors. He loves to hunt, fish and farm. Unfortunately, he suffers from spina bifida, which means Lane has limited use of his legs.
But that hasn’t slowed him down, especially since the community rallied to raise money and donate an off-road wheelchair to him.
The wheelchair, called a action trackchair, moves on tracks instead of wheels and can travel over mud, snow, sand and sticks. It even allows the user to stand in it.
Lane has already been out in nature with the trackchair and will be able to show it off and thank his friends and family members for the gift – and for changing his life – later this month at a town banquet.
