Some fans in North Carolina are ticked off at Blake Shelton because the concert he was supposed to headline at East Carolina University's Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium on August 19th has been rescheduled for April of next year. But Blake won't be available then due to his commitment to The Voice.
After fans blasted him on social media, he responded on Twitter, "The cancellation had NOTHING to do with me. I was ready to play the show. I love Greenville and will figure out a way to come there and play!"
The decision to postpone the show came from the school in an effort to protect the football field from harm so close to its team's home opener.
The show in April will feature Parmalee, Big and Rich and Tucker Bethard.
