The annual Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest happened in Coney Island on the 4th Of July and once again, Joey Chestnut took home the title (and the indigestion) for breaking his own record and eating 74 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes!
For the record, that's one hot dog about every 8 seconds for a whole 10 minutes! (And in case you're wondering, that's somewhere around 22,000 calories and over 1,300 grams of fat in one sitting) The second place guy had 45.
Now don't get me wrong, I love a good cookout... And I ate my fair share of hot dogs for the 4th of July... But this guy takes the cake!!! Um... Hot Dog? You know what I mean... You can watch the video of the competition below, if you dare!
The video below shows the count ending at 64 dogs, but the final count was his record breaking 74.
