Hootie & the Blowfish just released a lyric video for their new song Won't Be Home For Christmas featuring Abigail Hodges and I have to say... It brought tears to my eyes. It's a really simple video with a notepad and little green plastic soldiers, but it will definitely tug at your heart strings.
This new song is all about those brave men and women serving in the military and serving overseas this holiday season, and the hardship it places on military families. Check out the video below.
Also, I want to say a big thank you to everyone who serves and has served in the US Military. I know that being apart from your families during this time is especially hard, and I wish "thank you" could express my true gratitude for everything you do to serve our country.
