WandaVision was supposed to be a tie-in to more upcoming shows and movies in the MCU, but turned into a show that was loved by fans all over the world, with many viewers wanting and expecting a Season 2!
On March 5, Disney+ released episode 9, titled Series Finale... And while it does tie up the story of WandaVision, (don't worry, no spoilers from me) it leaves the ending open for its connection to the upcoming Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness set for release in March of 2022. Not only does the story end well, but there is a mid-credit scene and a post-credit scene that you'll want to stick around for. Both clips offer a look at the future for upcoming MCU movies and shows.
So, will the cast of WandaVision be back for Season 2? Unfortunately, the answer (for now) is no. According to series director Matt Shakman, WandaVision was supposed to be a limited series that would lead into other properties - particularly Doctor Strange 2- and it was used to bridge the gap in Scarlet Witch's story following Endgame. That doesn't necessarily mean that WandaVision season 2 can't happen. The studio is already working on Season 2 of What If...?, and there are reports of Loki season 2 happening as well, so anything can happen and maybe we will see WandaVision season 2 coming soon. By all reports, if they did make Season 2, it would be well into 2022.
