The Little Rock mayor has issued a new mask mandate for the City of Little Rock in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 in the city and county. According to reports, the new mandate will require people to wear a mask inside any city owned building or on any city owned/maintained property from parks to public buildings, even on sidewalks. When asked about the enforcement of this new mandate, the mayor said that police will be asking people to wear a mask or ask them to wear the mask properly.
This mandate is for Little Rock and will be for indoors or outdoors. Privately owned businesses are not required to participate, but are encouraged to require masks as well.
