A fire-proof edition of one of the most-banned books in America is going up for auction at Sotheby's New York. Penguin Random House recently unveiled the "unburnable" edition of The Handmaid's Tale in a new promotional video. In the video, we see author Margaret Atwood using a massive flamethrower on its fireproof pages, and it looks like the book is undamaged at the end of the scene.
The book is being presented for auction through June 7th and the money will go toward PEN America, an organization that supports free expression in literature.
