You've probably heard that tomorrow is Election Day... and (believe it or not) there’s actually a voting booth on the International Space Station! American astronauts aboard the space station are able to cast their absentee ballot 200 miles above Earth.
Of course, astronauts voting from space is a relatively new thing. In the early days of space travel, astronauts would only be in space for a little while. But today, astronauts are up there for months at a time and can miss out on voting windows. So, the government has put systems in place to make sure the astronauts can participate in elections, no matter where they are.
