Ugly Christmas Sweater & Gift Wrap Party at Youth Home

CALLING ALL ELVES!

Imagine waking up on Christmas morning away from the familiarity of home and wondering if Santa remembered to visit. That’s the reality for the teen boys and girls (ages 12-17) who spend the holidays with us at Youth Home. Holiday traditions are important to us because most of our kids have never had the chance to experience the fun of opening stockings, decorating the tree, or receiving a present. All they want in the world is to feel loved.

Come out on Saturday, December 15th at 9am to the Youth Home gym at 20400 Colonel Glenn Rd., Little Rock and lend a hand! Turning the Youth Home into Santa's workshop to wrap gifts for the kids on campus! Any ages and wrapping skill levels are welcome and appreciated!

ADOPT A DOVE TREE

Delivering gifts to every child on earth takes a lot of milk and cookies. Give Santa a hand this Christmas by adopting a Dove Tree and donating the items on its decorative gift tags. For a fun group activity, invite your office or family to participate and see how many gifts you can cross off Santa’s list. Each tree comes with 25 tags that can be customized for a specific price range or area of interest (like clothing, toys, or hygiene). You can even choose a cash tree and Youth Home’s staff will do the shopping for you!

Please deliver donations to Youth Home by December 12th so the elves can have them under the tree in time for Christmas.* Items can be mailed (Attn: Development) or dropped off at the administration building on our campus (20400 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, AR 72210) between 8:30am and 5:00pm, Monday-Friday. To arrange pick-up of a large or group donation, or if you need more information, please contact Stephanie.Jonasson@YouthHome.org.
