Ford Shows Off New 1400HP Mustang MACH-E Prototype

Ford Performance put a new video on their YouTube channel on July 21st with a caption that reads, "Anything you can do, we can do electric." And when you click the video, you're shown a Mustang NASCAR, and a Mustang RTR, both revving these massive engines... And then the camera slides over to another Mustang that's kind of pearl with red highlights and it's making virtually no noise at all. But for the rest of the video we see it keeping up and surpassing some of these incredible racing (and even drifting) machines. All I've got to say is that if you know someone who loves cars and racing, they NEED to see this video.

Introducing the all-electric Mustang Mach-E 1400: a one-of-a-kind all-electric prototype developed in collaboration with RTR Vehicles, targeting 1,400 peak horsepower and more than 2,300 lb. of downforce.* Vaughn Gittin Jr. puts the vehicle to the test against Ken Block, Chelsea DeNofa, Hailie Deegan, and Joey Logano.

*Based on manufacturer calculation using computer engineering simulations.
