According to the Little Rock Police Department, Officer Christopher Crowder was shot during a drive-by shooting while following up on a drive-by shooting that occurred the previous day in the Doyle Springs area. The incident took place on Rosswood Drive.
Officer Crowder was shot twice in the leg during the incident, and was sent to a nearby hospital. He was sent home the following day in the care of his family.
Little Rock police have said that 19-year-old Jaiden Lee has been arrested in connection to the drive-by shootings. He is being charged with several felonies including terroristic threatening and aggravated assault. The investigation is ongoing.
