Keith Whitley's classic Don't Close Your Eyes is one of my favorite songs of all time. It's just THAT good... So when I saw a video of Luke Combs singing it, I had to stop and see what he had done with it. Can't tell you just how glad I am that I clicked on the video and gave it a chance. Luke does an amazing job of putting his heart into every song he performs, and this was no exception. Absolutely love the stripped-down acoustic flavor he gave this tune and how he kept it true to its roots but still gave it that Luke Combs feel.
