Today Is National First Responders Day!

Police, Fire, EMT & Paramedics... National First Responders Day is all about you and I just wanted to take a minute and say THANK YOU to each and every person working hard every day to help protect us and take care of us in whatever you do. You get out there and take on the scary things that go bump in the night, you run into burning buildings, you rush to the scene of a terrible event to rescue those in need and save lives daily.

The United States Senate passed a resolution designating October 28th as National First Responders Day to honor the men and women putting their lives on the line back in 2019, but it has yet to become an official holiday. Currently there is a petition urging Congress to finish the process and declare it a national day in their honor.

How To Observe #NationalFirstRespondersDay

Recognize a first responder in your life. Offer to treat them to their favorite beverage or offer to buy their lunch. And also be supportive of their family. (The long hours take more than just a toll on the first responder, after all.) More importantly, support programs that improve services to first responders. Connect with a first responder who came to your rescue and thank them. Let them know you appreciate their dedication.

Share your appreciation on social media using #NationalFirstRespondersDay.

Seriously, from the bottom of all our hearts, THANK YOU for all that you do. Especially during this crazy time that we've been living in, you all deserve medals for your hard work.
