Hunter Kahn, from Minnesota, cashed in on last week's GameStop stock event and now he's doing something nice for the gamer kids that are being treated at Children's Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis!
Like a lot of other amateur investors, Kahn purchased GameStop stock and was able to cash in on it quickly, but said in an interview that, โA lot of people are saying that this is somewhat like a transfer of power, but if the moneyโs going from here just to the other side, thereโs no difference if we just are acting the same way as the people that weโre criticizing... Itโs important that we donโt become men in suits ourselves, and use our money for good.โ
So, to make sure that he did something good with it, he purchased six Nintendo Switch consoles and games, and donated them to the Children's Minnesota Hospital where he hopes that they will bring joy to the kids receiving treatment there.
