A photo of a local Burger King sign went viral on social media recently because of their short staff situation. The sign outside of the Lincoln, NE restaurant said "WE ALL QUIT - SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE"
While there were still people working there, the crew was so small that they wanted to let people know that there wouldn't be many people to serve them. Former general manager Rachael Flores said that it was "just kind of a laugh to upper management." and that they didn't think anyone would really notice... But then the picture went viral on Facebook and the rest was history.
As it turns out, the reason for the mass exodus from the restaurant was due to many issues including a lack of District Managers, lack of employees already on staff, and one complaint that the kitchen was over 90 degrees And when Flores turned in her two weeks notice, eight of her coworkers followed with her.
