In an attempt to get more University of Arkansas students to get vaccinated for the upcoming semester, the U of A Division of Student Affairs Pat Walker Health Center posted that vaccinated students could win special prizes throughout the semester.
All vaccinated students – regardless of vaccination date – have multiple opportunities to win a number of prizes this semester as the University of Arkansas offers incentives for COVID-19 vaccination to help support a healthy and successful fall semester.
Currently unvaccinated students can become eligible as soon as they are vaccinated and have entered to win. New winning names will be drawn randomly each week. So, the sooner students get vaccinated (and enter), the sooner they become eligible for the weekly drawings.
According to the website, the prizes will include $500 scholarships, $100 Parking Permit Credits, $100 Bookstore Gift Cards, plus Razorback Football packs with 4 tickets and a parking pass for several games in the 2021 season, a Grand Canyon backpacking trip, Buffalo River Canoe Trip, Walmart AMP ticket packages for two, and lots more!
