As a dad in a blended family, I've got to say that I loved the song My Boy by Elvie Shane since the first time I heard it. It hit me right in the feels from Day 1.
But then I came across the My Girl version of the song a little while back, and as a Girl Dad in a blended family, my heart just melted and I have been singing it this way ever since.
