Taylor Swift doesn't appear in Thor: Love and Thunder, but the movie's director says she inspired one of its most memorable scenes.
Taika Waititi tells Insider that Tay played a key part in the introduction of the screaming, flying goats that help Thor travel from place to place. He says he saw a vintage meme of Taylor's "I Knew You Were Trouble" mashed up with a bleating goat and knew he hit pay dirt. Waititi explained, “Someone in post-production found this meme of a Taylor Swift song that has screaming goats in it. I didn’t even know that existed."
Before Taylor entered the picture, the goats were supposed to be silent, but the director says “[The sound] wasn’t meant for the film or anything, it was just an update, but they ended up staying because they “were freakin’ awesome."
