Three corrections officers at a jail in Oklahoma, who played "Baby Shark" for inmates, have lost their jobs and are facing cruelty charges.
Two former officers and their supervisor are charged with conspiracy and cruelty to an inmate after they handcuffed four inmates to a wall and made them listen to the children's song on a loop. One of the accused officers copped to the unusual punishment saying they did it “to discipline inmates and teach them a lesson because they felt disciplinary action within the Detention Center was not working in correcting the behavior of the inmates.”
Inmates filed complaints with the prison system and an investigation confirmed their accusations.
