Six Bridges Book Festival with Central Arkansas Library System

The Central Arkansas Library System has been hosting the Six Bridges Book Festival as a special weekend in October for families to celebrate the joys of reading and also giving readers the chance to meet some of their favorite celebrities, chefs, and writers in Downtown Little Rock. In 2020, things had to be done differently, but that doesn't mean that we couldn't still enjoy this great event! For the first time, the Six Bridges Book Festival will be an online event that spans 11 days with artists, crafts, authors, and lots more to enjoy for the entire family.

For the safety of the authors, moderators, volunteers, patrons, and staff, this year’s Six Bridges Book Festival will be an all virtual event with most sessions taking place on the Zoom platform. CALS is posting updates on social media as more information becomes available, or you may sign up to receive updates via email at CALS.org.

“We want to thank everyone for their patience as we’ve been busy adjusting and rebuilding in order to provide the memorable and exciting event Arkansas deserves,” said Brad Mooy, Six Bridges Book Festival Coordinator. “We’re pleased that so many of the authors have been able to make the transition to the fall. Of course, there have been some changes along the way, and we’ll likely have a few more, but we remain optimistic and look forward to the October communion.”
