Thousands of Arkansans are without power after the storms and tornado that passed through Central Arkansas overnight (5/8). Over 7,000 residents in Garland County are without power and many Little Rock residents are also without power as Entergy continues to work towards electricity to area residents. According to reports, Hot Springs Fire Department crews performed search and rescue operations in the Lakeland Drive and Peninsula Drive communities. At this time, the following streets are impassable and should be avoided:
- Peninsula Drive to Bayshore Loop
- Lakeland starting at Robinhood and further toward the lake
- Davidson Drive starting at Shadygrove Road
