Company Creates Beer... For Your Dog?

If you've ever thought that "man's best friend" deserved a cold one at the end of the day, there is now, officially, a beer made specially for dogs!

This might be the craziest thing I've ever seen... But if you've ever been to a party where beverages are involved, sometimes Fido tries to sneak a sip, and that would be really bad for their stomachs. That's where Megan and Steven Long come in with their Good Boy Dog Beer!

Megan and Steven are bar owners, but also caring pet owners. They realized that your furry companion is always trying to get into your drink or will go after anything spilled on the floor, so why not create something that would be safe for them to have? No, they don't have alcohol, but they do have pork, peanut butter, chicken, or veggie based options that are specially created for your pup's digestive system!

There are 4 Fido- approved flavors including:

  • IPA A Lot in the Yard, pork based and seasoned with turmeric, basil, mint, fennel, ginger, and celery.
  • Crotch Sniffin’ Ale, peanut based seasoned with whole grain oats, and cinnamon.
  • Mailman Malt Licker, chicken based and seasoned with turmeric, ginger, oranges, carrots, basil, cilantro and fennel.
  • Session…Squirrelwhich is veggie based, seasoned with carrots, apples, green beans, celery, oranges, sweet potatoes, ginger, turmeric and mint.

Each can retails for $5, and a four-pack costs $18. A sampler pack containing each brew is also available for $18.

Humans CAN drink these beers, but remember they are made for a dog’s palate, so they'll be really bland to most people. Find out more at
