News-worthy sports achievements are hard to come by these days, which is why a British runner is receiving attention for running a mile in an unremarkable time of 10 minutes and 11 seconds!
The reason Ashley Winter's time, which is almost seven minutes behind the world record, is notable is because he did it blindfolded.
His time for doing it actually earned him a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Winter, who has a vision impairment, did it to raise money for the charity Fight for Sight.
