Britney Spears just got some bad news in court. A judge denied her attorney’s request to get her next conservatorship hearing moved up. The next court date is scheduled for September 29th, but her lawyer Mathew Rosengart, wanted it moved to late August.
The hearing is expected to deal with Rosengart’s request to get Britney’s father Jamie removed as her conservator. The judge also denied Rosengart’s request to immediately suspend Jamie. The lawyer argued that it needed to be earlier because “every day matters,” when it comes to removing Jamie, noting it’s taking a toll on Britney’s mental health, although the judge didn’t see enough proof that was true.
The judge did dismiss Rosengart's request without prejudice, which means he can submit his request again.
- Meanwhile, Britney took to Instagram to let her fans know she would be sharing less on the social media site because of the media. “In a system where I’ve felt completely hopeless for so long, at least I do have a platform to share !!!!,” she wrote next to a video of someone making avocado toast. She then added, “Unfortunately the news has been pretty nasty saying horrible and mean lies about me so I’m gonna post a little less from now on 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ !!!!”
- And in another post on Insta, Britney addressed the #FreeBritney movement, with a Boomerang of a fan flying a Free Britney flag. "Geez look at that flag 🙊🤯🥺 !!!! I was like “My flag up over the American Flag !?!?” … Yes … I’m tooting my own horn 📯 .. is that bad ?????," sh writes. I know in my previous post I said you guys know my situation but LET ME CLARIFY ... you only know half of it !!!!"
- She adds, "And for a lot of you who say I should be cautious with what I post … I mean if you REALLY THINK ABOUT IT … with what I’ve been through I believe I been WAAAY TOO CAUTIOUS !!!! One day I will live on the edge !!!! One day 🤔💭 …"
