Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are making the most out of their trip to New York City. Over the weekend, they made an appearance at Global Citizen Live in Central Park, their first official public event together since welcoming their daughter Lilibet Diana.
They looked as in love as ever, but were business as usual as they sent an important message on stage – that it’s time to “vaccinate the world.” Meghan pointed out that while she and Harry are examples that you can “go almost anywhere and get vaccinated” in countries like the United States, “billions of people around the world” still can’t. The couple says it should be a “basic human right” to get vaxxed, no matter where you live.
As we mentioned, they’re making the most out of the Big Apple trip, and that includes getting in some filming in for Netflix. As the couple toured the 9/11 memorial and got Harry his first-ever bite of chicken and waffles in Harlem, they were mic’d up and followed around by a videographer.
